The Role of the New Business Sales Executive Position:

• Identify multi - services opportunities in the Small and Medium Business sector
• Meet and exceed the personal profit objective on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Be responsible for the generation of leads and appointments
• Meet and exceed the personal revenue objective on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Continually increase the number of new customers.
• Maintain long-term relationships with existing Accounts in order to identify and facilitate new sales opportunities.
• Understand the customer/prospects business and to use this knowledge to develop business within each account.
• Provide regular accurate forecasts
• Understand the supplier’s objectives and develop the relationship with supplier representatives.
• Maintain a high level of knowledge of all strategies, products and services.
• Maintain a high level of knowledge of all competitive companies’ products and services.
• Ensure a smooth hand-over of orders to the Operations Department.
• Ensure that all practises conform to company regulations.
• Identify customer needs and deliver cost effective, profitable solutions.

The Ideal New Business Sales Executive Candidate should:

• Have a strong Cisco networking background
• Cisco Partner experience
• Have a high level of IP Telephony experience (not necessarily Cisco)
• Have a high level of knowledge of Security Solutions
• Have Shoretel experience
• Have experience selling into this territory (South East or South West)
• Have a strong networking background
• Goldmine experience would be useful, but not essential as full training will be given

A candidate with a Sales Account Manager qualification in either: Advanced Routing & Switching, Advanced WLAN, Advanced Unified Comms or Advanced Security would be an advantage

• Be self-motivated
• Have a proven successful sales track record
• Have the ability to meet and exceed profit targets
• Maintain a figure of 75% of the revenue target for New Business won
• Have the ability to successfully manage existing Accounts.
• Have the ability to facilitate further business opportunities.
• Maintain an activity rate based on a minimum of 6 appointments a week
• Have the ability to forecast accurately on a monthly basis
